宮沢賢治の「銀河鉄道の夜」を元に創作したペーパーシアター。独創的なミニチュアの美術と俳優たちから発せられる「賢治の美しい言葉」が、ジョバンニの住む美しい東北の街と銀河鉄道の幻想第４次の世界に導きます。カンパネルラの死を巡って、銀河鉄道に乗り込んだジョバンニが、ほんの少し大人になる心の成長物語です。

あくまで上演というスタイルにこだわり、俳優によるペーパーパペットと美術の操作をノンストップで、１カット撮影しました。本編は、カメラワークも編集も、一切していません。上演と同じく、全ては俳優の技量で成立しています。台詞は、既存音声とzoomでの在宅録音を使用し、アテレコはしていません。

For this online creation, I will be creating one animation for Paper Puppet Theatre.

What? I can't draw well, but I'm not sure... I can hear the voice...

I'm not a big fan of half-assedly  good pictures. More importantly, I think it's important to have a temperature. It's energetic when it's created in a way that doesn't care about evaluation. I can imagine a body that loves to give birth to. Very nice. So, don't worry, join us.

今回のオンライン創作は、ペープサートのアニメーションを創作します。
え？絵をうまく描けませんが、自信がないんですが、、、。という声が聞こえてきます。
私は、中途半端に上手い絵があまり好きではありません。それより、温度があることが大事だなと思います。評価なんて気にしないで、夢中で創られたものは、エネルギッシュです。生み出すことを愛でる身体が想像できる。とても素敵。なので、心配しないで、参加して下さい。

"black and white," "flat," "objects around you," "people around you," and "repetitive shapes.

This is an attempt to send out a short work of art by simply moving the materials you have created on a PC.

A: Create analog "patterns" for the background of the work and for the people

B: Using "patterns", create "figures", "animals around you", "objects around you", "plants around you", etc. (created on cardboard. The more I can get my joints to move, the better.)

テーマは、
「モノクロ」「平面」「身の周りの物たち」「身の周りの人たち」「反復する形」

みなさんが創った素材をPC上でシンプルに動かして、１つの短い作品にして発信しようという試みです。

A: 作品の背景や人物の素材になる「模様」をアナログで創る
B: 「模様」を使って、「人物」や「身の周りの動物」「身の周りの物たち」「身の周りの植物」などを創作（厚紙で創作。関節が動くようにできるとより良いね）

                                                                         A

1. Gather the unneeded things around you. Stray lids, buttons, vegetable scraps, string, erasers, sponges, cloths, etc.　And black and white paints. (Acrylic gouache is best.)
1. 身の回りにある要らないものを集めます。迷子になった蓋、ボタン、野菜の切れ端、紐、消しゴム、スポンジ、布などなど。それと、白と黒の絵の具。（アクリルガッシュが最適）

2. Prepare a black or white paper (B3 or A4). If you don't have one at home, get someone to give it to you. You don't have to buy it.
2. B3かA4の白か黒の紙を用意します。家になかったら、誰かにもらって下さい。買わなくていいです。

3. Put paint on the unwanted items you have collected and stamp them on the paper like a stamp.

3. 集めた要らないものに絵の具をつけて、紙にスタンプのようにおしていきます。

☆Rule 1: The pattern must be repetitive. Decide on a pattern, repeat it, and fill the paper with the pattern.

☆ルール１：模様が反復していること。パターンを決め、反復させて、紙を模様で埋めていきます。

4. send in the scanner! Or, you can take a picture. But it would be beautiful if you could get it in the scanner.
4. スキャナーで送信！または、写真でもいいです。でも、スキャナーで取り入れてくれたら綺麗かな。

It is possible to make an interesting pattern with a string wrapped around a board or a piece of packing material. I'm looking forward to your imaginary "patterns"!
板に紐をぐるぐる巻いたものや、梱包材の切れ端は結構、面白い模様を作れます。みなさんの奇想天外な「模様」お待ちしています！

It would be nice if the arms/legs could move. It's good to make the joints move with wire.

1. 厚紙で、人物の形を作ります。大きさは、スキャンできるくらいの大きにしてくださいね。首
腕・足が動くといいと思います。どこか１箇所でも、全く動かなくてもOK。関節は、針金で動くようにするといいです。

2. stick the "pattern" you sent or made on cardboard and design your eyes, nose, hair, and clothes.

2. みんなが送信してくれた「模様」または、自分で創った「模様」を厚紙に貼り、目や鼻やら髪の毛やら洋服をデザインします。

Rule 2: Don't draw pictures! Stick it up!

☆ルール２：絵は描いてはいけません！貼るのです！

I didn't have any cardboard, but I did! The joints are moved with a wire.

厚紙がなかったけど、できちゃった！関節は、針金を使って可動させています。

The rules are.

Black and white... black and white only.

Repetition...keep it up.

Familiar...familiar and familiar.

Planar...Create depth with planarity, not three-dimensional.

ルールは、

モノクロ・・・白と黒しかだめですよ

反復・・・反復を守る

身近・・・身近でよく知っているもの

平面・・・立体ではなく、平面で奥行きを創る
